The various programs leading to the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree are specifically designed to transfer to a four-year college or university in the Oklahoma State System for Higher Education. The primary purpose of the programs falling under the Associate in Applied Science degree category is to prepare a student for immediate employment or advancement. However in many cases the related AAS courses can be transferred to a four-year school and applied to certain bachelor degree programs.
Rose State’s academic calendar is designed to offer maximum flexibility for students.
Options include day, evening, and online. Hybrid courses, consisting of part classroom and part online, are also part of the curriculum. Classes are offered in 2, 4, 8, and 16-week terms.
